Kubo Studio was born from a simple question: what if everyday objects were as beautiful as they are durable?
Our raw material grows in a field.
Our pieces are made from bio-based PLA, a material derived from corn starch. No oil. No conventional plastic. A plant-based material, transformed layer by layer into a design object.
This choice is not a marketing argument. It is a conviction: a beautiful object should not cost the planet.
Each piece takes between 4 and 48 hours to make.
Nothing here is mass-produced. Every lamp, every vase comes out of a single workshop in the Sarthe, France. We call it digital craftsmanship. The precision of technology in the service of a slow, intentional, individual gesture.
380 stacked layers for a lamp base. 12 hours of printing for a vase. We consider that time an integral part of the object's value.
Our collections are limited. Deliberately.
Each colourway of the Canopée Lamp is produced in a maximum of 100 pieces.
Each piece carries a number. Not as a strategy of artificial scarcity — because it is the reality of the way we produce, and we would rather own it than hide it.
A numbered object is an object that has a place in the world.

Kubo Studio's forms are designed to be timeless — to outlast trends, house moves, years. A Kubo vase has no expiry date.
